Jesse C. Crawford Jr., Non-Executive Chair

Jesse C. Crawford Jr. is an independent investor and experienced board leader with over a decade of service on the Crawford & Company Board of Directors. In December 2023, he was appointed as the non-executive chair of the board, where he continues to guide the company’s strategic direction and governance.

As the grandson of founder Jim Crawford, Crawford brings a deep legacy connection to the organization. His family maintains a controlling interest in the company, ensuring continuity of the Crawford family’s representation on the board. This presence is a key component of the board’s long-term succession planning strategy, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its founding values while navigating future growth.

W. Bruce Swain, Jr., President & CEO

As president, chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors for Crawford & Company, Bruce Swain is responsible for leading and directing all aspects of the company's global operations, including setting the company’s strategic vision and driving long-term growth. Bruce’s career began at Crawford in 1991 handling business interruption claims. He later joined the company’s finance organization and held several management positions before being named senior vice president and controller in January 2000 and chief financial officer and executive vice president in October 2006.

Bruce has successfully guided Crawford through significant transformations over the course of his career, driving growth, building financial strength and advancing the company’s position as a market leader.

He is passionate about empowering leadership and employees to pursue innovation and customer service excellence. He is also committed to strengthening the company’s values and culture, which he has helped shape during his tenure.

Bruce is a certified public accountant and a chartered global management accountant. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy from the University of Mississippi. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives International, National Investor Relations Institute and the National Associate of Corporate Directors.

Bruce and his wife, Martha, reside in Atlanta, Ga. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, outdoor activities, golf, and spending time with his three grown children and two dogs.

Dame Inga Beale

Dame Inga Beale is the former chief executive officer of Lloyd's of London, where she served for five years before stepping down in 2018. She was the first female CEO in the global insurance and reinsurance market's long-standing history. Beale started her career at Prudential Assurance Company in London and is trained as an underwriter specializing in international treaty reinsurance. She worked for General Electric's insurance division for 14 years, where she held numerous management roles, including leadership roles in Kansas City, Paris and Munich. Beale then led the Swiss reinsurer Converium, where she spearheaded a company turnaround.

In 2008, she joined Zurich Insurance Group as a member of their group management board. The following year she was named the group's global chief underwriting officer. From 2012-2013, she was the group CEO at the privately-held Lloyd's insurer, Canopius.

Beale is a chartered insurer and studied economics and accounting at Newbury College, Berkshire, England, and was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2017 New Year Honours for services to the economy. She also played a critical role in advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives across the global insurance sector, including the Dive In Festival, the only sector-wide diversity and inclusion festival in the world. She sits on the board of directors of Willis Towers Watson plc, NN Group NV and South Pole Holding AG. She previously served as the non-executive chair of the board for Mediclinic International plc, a private hospital and healthcare group.

Cameron Bready

Cameron Bready, chief executive officer and member of the board of directors of Global Payments Inc., is an experienced global business leader who has served in a variety of top leadership roles at public companies over his career. Prior to becoming CEO, he was president and chief operating officer for Global Payments, overseeing the company’s worldwide merchant solutions businesses across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America, along with worldwide operations, risk management, product and real estate. From 2014 to 2019, he served as the company's senior executive vice president and chief financial officer and was responsible for global financial operations including finance, treasury, accounting, tax, investor relations, internal audit, corporate development, worldwide operations, global real estate and corporate affairs. Prior to joining Global Payments, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for ITC Holdings Corp., a publicly traded electric transmission utility.

Bready has been recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a “Most Admired CEO.” He has also been named by Institutional Investors as one of "America's Best CFOs" multiple times, by Crain's Detroit Business as "CFO of the Year" and by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as "CFO of the Year" in the large public company category. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. He is a member of the board of directors for Global Payments, Inc., the Electronic Transaction Association and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and he also serves on the board of trustees of the Woodruff Arts Center and Pace Academy.

Jesse C. Crawford

Jesse C. Crawford is the retired chief executive officer of Crawford Media Services, Inc., an Atlanta-based provider of electronic media services for television, film and archival clients, which he directed and operated from 2010 through its sale in 2019. Before that, he was the president and chief executive officer for over 25 years at Crawford Communications, Inc., a full-service provider of teleproduction services, including audio/video production and post-production, multimedia title design, satellite services, animation and special effects.

Fred R. Donner

Fred R. Donner is an accomplished finance executive with a distinguished career in the insurance industry. He has extensive experience leading and advising corporations through restructurings, international expansion, risk management and capital market transactions.

His leadership experience includes serving as executive vice president of enterprise risk management and chief financial officer for business and international insurance at Travelers Insurance, and as executive vice president and chief financial officer of RenaissanceRe Ltd., a publicly traded Bermuda-based global reinsurer. He began his career at KPMG, where he advised many of the industry’s largest companies and ultimately served as national partner-in-charge of the firm’s insurance industry practice.

Donner currently serves on the President’s Council of Pace University. He previously served as a director of Global Indemnity Group and Argo Group International. He is a certified public accountant (inactive), a member of the American Institute of CPAs and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pace University.

Lisa Hannusch

Lisa G. Hannusch is the managing member and CEO of Rhino Results, LLC, which she founded in 2017, to support companies’ strategic directions through consulting engagements and investments in the healthcare, insurance, technology or other related industries.

From 2004 to 2017, Hannusch was the owner and CEO of UniMed Direct, a medical management software and service company which was purchased by Mitchell International, Inc. in 2017. She currently serves on the advisory boards of Cadence Rx, a PBM company; Bailey Group, a private equity firm; and for Little Tesoros Therapy Services, which are pediatric therapy clinics.

A pioneer in the evolving college sports landscape, Hannusch also serves as a board advisor for the Texas One Fund, where she works to ensure women's sports are at the forefront of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities.

Hannusch brings decades of leadership in the healthcare sector, including leadership positions within claims services, medical, regulatory, insurance and technology companies. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Joel Murphy

Joel Murphy is a respected CEO and board director with decades of experience in national capital markets, real estate acquisition and development, market analysis, board membership and legal expertise. Currently, he is chief executive officer of Murphy Capital and Advisory Group LLC, a consulting firm and advisory which promotes and guides quality growth and capital strategies for private and public companies. From 2020 to 2022, he served as president and CEO of Preferred Apartment Communities, Inc. (PAC). He joined PAC’s board in 2019 and became board chair in 2021. Prior to becoming CEO, Murphy was the co-founder, president and CEO of New Market Properties, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of PAC which focused on acquiring grocery-anchored shopping centers.

Murphy is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Law Review and honors graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. He was previously recognized as one of Atlanta’s “Most Admired CEOs” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Orvis Company.

Rahul Patel

Rahul Patel is a partner with King & Spalding, where he focuses on mergers, joint ventures and strategic corporate transactions as the co-head of the firm’s global private equity/M&A group and sits on the firm’s governing policy committee.

Patel was appointed by the Governor of the State of Florida to the University of Florida Board of Trustees where he serves as vice-chair. He has been rated as a leading mergers and acquisitions lawyer by Chambers Global, Chambers USA, Chambers Asia-Pacific and Legal 500. He holds a Juris Doctor degree and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.

Amy Shore

Amy Shore is a seasoned C-suite executive with decades of leadership experience in the financial services industry. She has deep expertise in business transformation, customer experience and operational excellence, along with extensive P&L leadership and a track record of success in highly regulated industries.

As chief transformation officer at Nationwide Insurance, Shore led enterprise-wide initiatives focused on sustainable operational improvements. Previously, as chief customer officer, she was responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty across a $60B enterprise, overseeing strategy and experience for over 14 million customers across eight business lines. Additionally, she co-sponsored efforts to pilot generative AI applications in support of growth and efficiency.

A recognized thought leader, Shore is a frequent speaker on digital transformation and customer strategy and was a 2023 finalist for 50/50 Women on Boards’ “50 Women to Watch for Boards.” She earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Bowling Green State University and completed executive leadership programs at Northwestern’s Kellogg School and UC Berkeley. Additionally, she holds the NACD Directorship Certification and Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter and Chartered Life Underwriting designations.

Shore currently serves as trustee and board chair of Bowling Green State University and has previously chaired several key committees, including investment, compensation and financial affairs. She also holds board roles with the Columbus Symphony and has previously served with the United Way of Delaware County in Ohio.
