Tami Stevenson is Crawford’s general counsel, where she is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal affairs, as well as its internal audit, information security, compliance and ethics, privacy and third-party risk management functions. She joined Crawford as counsel for Crawford TPA: Broadspire in 1997, was promoted to deputy general counsel for Crawford in June 2019 and then to general counsel in June 2020.
Prior to Crawford, Stevenson held several corporate counsel positions with focus on workers' compensation and property casualty law, and she served for six years in the United States Air Force Reserves. She achieved the rank of staff sergeant as an avionics technician in the U.S Air Force Reserve, where she proudly served for eight years. Stevenson received the Outstanding Achievement Medal for her work in 1990. Stevenson earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in 1992.
She is also an honor graduate of the U.S. Air Force Technical Training School and is a member of several legal associations, including the Florida Bar Association for Corporate Counsel and the Society of Corporate Governance.
